Appointment behaviour consult dog

Please complete this questionnaire (click here) and add a picture and videos of your dog. This questionnaire limits the duration of the first appointment. If your photographs or videos are too large to send by e-mail, please send them through WeTransfer (www.wetransfer.com) to Anouck.Haverbeke@ugent.be
Please fill out the questionnaire at least 7 days prior to your appointment. If we haven't received your questionnaire by then, your appointment will be rescheduled.

Practical tips for your appointment

  • The first appointments usually take 1h30.
  • All persons who interact regularly with your dog are invited to attend the first consultation.
  • All animals involved in the behavioural problem are also invited to attend the appointment.
  • Please send us some videos of your dog’s behaviour, a few days before the appointment (videos of the unwanted behaviour and also some videos when your dog is completely relaxed). If these videos can’t be sent before the appointment, you can take them with you. Do not put any human or animal in perilous situations when making these videos.
  • If possible, do not feed your dog on the day of the appointment. If the appointment is at the end of the day, don’t give his evening dinner.
  • What should you take with you on the first appointment?
    • The health record of your dog
    • All previous medical analyses
    • A video of the behavioural problem (if it was not sent by mail)
    • Your dog's favourite food or rewards
    • The favourite game of your dog
    • 7 days prior to the appointment: write a list of negative behaviour of your dog and bring the list with you to the appointment
